While going through some more boxes here I came accross 2 items I am almost positive aren't tyco. The first is a boxcar I think is really Marx but the only markings that lead me to beleive that are the letters MAR in a circle on the chasis bottom. It's just resting on a Life Like box for the pic. I think my dad found these as he was always shopping at "Sears and Go Broke" as my mom called it. 4 of them and they aren't in a box.
The second is in a Life Like box but has the wrong description on the end panel, but I beleive it is a Lifelike or possibly an AHM.

The Marx boxcar, since it is stamped Sears, probably came from one of Sears' "Allstate" train sets... and would actually be a good companion to those tank cars you have.

I was thinking that but the cars had to come from 2 different people as I probably wouldn't have picked up the box cars I think my dad found them but the tank cars I just don't remember and it is quite possible they even belong to the same set but I have 4 of the boxcars and 2 tank cars dunno. Something else to ponder. It would probably look good behind my B&O Teakettle I found with a 4 wheel caboose.

At least i found my macro lens and can take a decent picture. My wife had it thought it was a magnifying glass and used it to look for a splinter and never put it away. STOP LAUGHING every word is true, until she tells you different. In Malfunction Junction: When all else fails get a bigger hammer.
