Anyone interested in a modern era HO scale flatbed towtruck? I visited a Five and Below store today, to see what interesting diecasts they had after Christmas, and found this new series ( to me ) by Wham-O called Rad Racers. The trucks are pretty much HO scale, the cars are more 1/64th. They border a bit on the toyish side , but the towtruck is fairly nice, and could be used as is, except maybe change out the wheels for some smaller and more realistic looking tires. But it tilts, doesn't slide back ( could be made to work ), and is very scale-like to me. Here's a few pictures of it. Made in China , website is Wham-0.com.

Just thought some of you guys might be interested in this truck. The cab itself is metal, all else is plastic.

| Boley did a much nicer one that isn't too hard to find. Boley quit, but someone else has re-issued some of their trucks, so it's only a matter of time before it turns up again if it hasn't already.
