ken - I WANTS this set
Very nice! It was the paint scheme on the L&N passenger E8 that first caught my eye and inspired me to model the L&N. Like those silver cars too, I have a lot of the blue cars but it's hit or miss to match them between various manufacturers.

That is a great color scheme Ken. Puts me in mind of a Royal Blue '57 Chevy with orange and yellow flames near the wheel wells.

There is a Railpark at Bowling Green KY, located at the old Bowling Green passenger depot, dedicated to the L&N with a great museum - they also have a representative passenger train on the siding there headed up with a cosmetically restored E8. When I first saw that color scheme with the blue cars and gold Louisville & Nashville script, I was hooked solid.
