I have a 50's Mantua Mike/Pacific tender I want to trade for. Die cast body and 6 wheel tender trucks. The unit is the frame less and coal-less style. Great shape. I wanna trade it for a older Varney tender.

Justin, Sadly, those tenders are A. Brass, and B. Expensive to get (most tend to keep them). I got but one of them, and can't part with it I thought you were looking for a die-cast tender, not a brass one....
That brass body, mates right up with the Western Maryland H class, 2-8-0's of the H-8 or H-9 of the WM.....Which I plan to attempt to mold for a few Western Maryland builds I have planned for my WM fleet of 2-8-0's......

Don't have to be brass.

You may think about the large tender made by HObbyline as a part of the plastic model kit of the Nickel Plate Berkshire 2-8-4. A very nice large tender.

Justin, A cheap 6 wheel tender truck source. I have robbed 6 wheel buckeye trucks from Bachmann heavy flat cars. This can be a good source for this type of truck. You can get them from Bachmann's or Athearn's wrecking cranes too. I can not justify taking a crane out of use for the trucks. Athearn sells the trucks as spare parts too.
The Bachmann Log heavy duty flats are easy to find and usually reasonably in price. I have used these on MDC USRA type oil tenders with good results. I add metal wheels and tune the rolling quality. You will then need to find or make wipers for the axles or wheels. I prefer a flexible soldered wire to a screw frame pickup system.
I have considered using 4 4 wheel trucks with a couple of span booster to get the Bachmann heavy duty flats back on the track, but have not done that yet.

The Varney brass tender and the Mantus diecast tender are definitely not equivalent in terms of trade value. I would put the Varney to be at least worth 2-3 Mantua Tenders, easily. I wouldn't trade any of mine for a Mantua tender either.
Don't get me wron, Mantua tnders aren't bad.. but they are a dime a dozen when compared to the Varney.

I had a couple of Bachmann heavy flats that came that way, with 4 - 4 wheel trucks. Those things were a pain to put on the track. I converted them to 6 wheels trucks.

I wouldn't mind a Mantua Vanderbilt tender in trade either.
