Great Train show, Timonium, MD Oct 26-27

I made it up to the show on Sunday, and got in around 10:30 AM. Dropped off my stuff at the club layout, then proceeded to do some shopping. Saturday was apparently wall-to-wall people, Sunday was fairly empty. I picked up some good deals at my club area, one member had about 6 boxes of everything, from Cox to Ulrich, I found quite a bit of stuff I was interested in.

I even found something for a new post, TOTW ( Tease of the Week), will have to take a picture of it, and then post it directing it to the one being teased. Hee hee!

Anyway, quit shopping about noon, came back and tried to run my haunted Indiana Harbor tender with AHM hustler chassis, but the Decoder was toast, I swapped it out, that one was good, but the engine still didn't run. OH well. Tried my Proto BL-2 next, but it kept surging, shutting down, then powering up again. After a few minutes I picked it up and back to the box it went. I then got my Bachmann Western Maryland GP out , and it ran fine, so I put a WM empty hopper behind it. Ran that for over an hour, then I parked it and went back to do more shopping. more good stuff, bargains everywhere. :) Came back, dug out my RDC-3, and ran that awhile until near the end of the show, then parked that and did some final shopping. Found a few more deals and cheap items I wanted, then came back and helped break down the club modular layout. I fixed one auxiliary power supply cord, and they had two more that needed work, so I took them out to my vehicle to work on them at home.

Overall a great day, I found lots of great items, for me and others too, ran some trains, helped an older club member load up his Memorial modules he got from a deceased member this year, and then headed home about 5:30 PM Wife is still mad I didn't tell her about going until she found out on Facebook Saturday evening. I've just caught so much grief over my hobby lately that I just don't feel like sharing any info with her anymore about it. Oh well. Will post pics another day.
