Hello guys, a while ago someone was talking about donating trains to kids who was starting model railroads. Well I have around three copy paper boxes of train stuff I don't want or need. I have so much stuff that I really don't need and I would love to donate them to some kind of charity. Most of them are still in good condition and useable, while a few of the can be parts value. By no means are these junk, I could sell them on eBay but I would rather give them to the kids. Thanks.

I sure am part of the "Toys for Tots" program. 2 members from this site have donated that I know of; Dave from MD and 'Da Cheez. Dave also talked with some other guys on another forum and they have sent things too.
If you decide to donate, there is an address to ship to at the "Ohio Valley Lines" model railroad club. If there are items that need repaired; it saves us some shipping expense if those items come directly to me since I do the repair work. Items that get sent to the club's contact person then have to be re-shipped to me. (Club is in Pittsburgh-I am in Columbus, Ohio)
And, we thank you for your support.

I actually had just the same idea as that Trains for Tots thing a while back, perhaps I should help out... And a few people at my church have donated several copy-paper-boxes full of their old train stuff to me, so you're not alone!
