Looks like an AWESOME SHOW! Well done! The SD70ACe/SD90MAC and the Southern Pacific SD45-2 (I believe!)

NICE units on the active roster!

microbusss: I picked them up for 10 bucks for both, could not pass it up. Eveyone got a good laugh out of them :]

walt: Thank you. We had the idea to do the siding in "sedona" red and the mainline in grey for some variety

EM-1: Thanks! It was a great show. And, that ain't no SD45-2... It's my DD40 ECO! I'll put up some better pics soon.

The SP 8912? is a DD40ECO? That's a SHORT DD to be a "Double Diesel" unit to have a single dynamic brake as well!

OR are you referring too the SP #7384? Altho I do see a true DD40 in their as #755 (I think that's the road number on it.....Its beside the SD70ACe in GM Demonstrator....

Yeah they were a good buy! :]

EM-1, I must have gotten it mixed up with what engine you're talking about. The 8912 is an SD45 with Elephant Ear air intakes :p

$10 for the set, as part of a larger deal. Not bad I'd say

WOW That's a good price those were like in the $20 or more range when they were re-offered a few years ago with new tooling and details plus fully assembled!

Good deal I'd say!
