You must be a fireman Mike. Cool layout. Smoke looks good. Some of the photographs really catch it. Barry

Mike,
The first thing I noticed was your Wallschlager Motors building, did you add the triple "garage" doors? I have the same kit and I'm not sure mine has that many doors on one end! NICE job!

Nice work on the Fire Station too!

The log cars, who made those? I ask as I'm trying to build a fleet of them myself as I am going to add a loging line to my layout as well! I have a couple Kadee, and a few MDC Roundhouse ones. (Got to say, I like the Roundhouse models better!) The Kadee models are A LOT of work!

The Heat of the night oil company is AWESOME! Scratchbuilt or? I'm working on a Refinery......

I like the engine facility too1 Who made your 2 stall engine house?

The layout looks GREAT! Steam with some diesel.... (I'll be doing the same!)

I like it! AND I'll be "following".....

~John

Loved the fire house is it a DPM building? I have an old store front and this gives me ideas. How did you make the raised letter signs?

Mike,

Nicely done! Not many people are willing and able to devote that much space to town scenes, but you have and with great results.

Yes that is a DPM kit,was formerly the Goodfellows Hall,as far as the lettering go's,I just used a piece of leftover paneling, sprayed it silver then adhered 1/4 stick on letters from headline sign, available at any craft store, then repainted it black, let it dry then pulled the stick on letters off,and wala instant signage,it's called reverse negative.

Some nice scenery there.Would hate to live next to a firehouse, though, they'd be activity all the time, sirens going off when they leave. Yikes! Nicely done on your part, though.
