Event Details
The Kettle Moraine Railroad Heritage Association, Inc. is hosting its 11th annual Model Railroad Show and Swap Meet. We do business as the Kettle Moraine Ballast Scorchers. We have scheduled this event for Sunday, October 13, 2013.
Start this fall by getting your hobby back on track. Everyone will have a chance to win door prizes, see operating model railroad layouts of various sizes and scales, find great bargains on both new and used railroad related items, and also get information about area clubs and hobby shops. This is the time for the whole family to see what Model Railroading is all about.
This year we have a new venue. We will be holding it at the Washington County Fair Park. The Washington County Fair Park is located minutes from Milwaukee at 3000 Pleasant Valley Road (Hwy PV), West Bend, WI 53095. The park is visible from US Highway 45 and there is a ramp for County Highway PV. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is easy access to the facility and plenty of parking. This show is for all scales of model railroading and for railroad related memorabilia. The hours of the event are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is easy access to the hall from either Hwy 60 or Hwy 175 with plenty of parking. Cost is just $3.00 for adults and children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. US servicemen and women are free with a service ID or in uniform.
