Good morning Ken. Laconia made the model before Ulrich. I would guess the same kit made by the next owner. Got to find a glue that is metal compatible. Do you see the family resemblance to MDC plastic ones.

They differ some from the MDC kits. I had a Laconia in the box I sold a while back.

The kits I have are more wood than metal. I started several, not finished any.
I also have similar kits from Ambroid, Quality Craft, Ye Olde Huff n Puff.

For compatible wood/metal adhesion I use Walther's GOO.
