Guys,
I know this is a long shot, BUT, If I know I have a chance, this forum can help me! I got this kit:

Revell Elevated Switchman's Shanty No. T9006.

Its in parts, BUT, no instructions, and I can't seem to figure out how the "steps type ladder" goes....ANYONE have instructions for assembly to this model? I'd love a scanned copy of it!

OR if not a scan copy of the assembly instructions, know which way the damned ladder/steps go correctly onto the "stilts" that hold up the small shanty?

ANY help on this one is appreciated! I just can't figure it out, as its NOT brand new, and have been assembled but the glue smudges, aren't helping me assemble it, the right way! BUT, it is repairable ands I'd like to use it on my layout as I have found a new "love" for the Revell buildings!

Nope! The Atlas model, doesn't have the ladder/steps, going up into the bottom of the little shanty, as the Revell model does......As the Revell model, has a split type ladder/steps set up.....Which, is why I'm looking for the instructions, everything on the model, I have is easy, but the ladder/steps, because they are in 2 sections, and the way originally assembled, it looks that they have been re-glued a few times from the looks of it.

Other then that, its all easy! BUT, I can't figure out, which of the 2 are the top section from the lower section as if turned around front to back, the parts don't "mate" together, which is why the glue smudges are there, and they don't even make sense either!

Cheez, & Shay,
THANKS! YES the pictures showing that step set up is all I needed! See, if you look close, its difficult to see the back to the front, the steps on the section that's the top, of the steps, its difficult to figure out, which is the back and the front if you look close, you can easily see how it needs to be.....WITHOUT pictures, this is difficult to figure out, specially with the glue smudges I had to deal with...(I'll be filing them off completely now.....) But, was difficult to tell which way these 2 parts went, with the glue smudges....

I think the tool chest is installed wrong on that photo, it should be to the left so the posts on the back of it match up to the posts for the shanty itself.

Sadly, looking at it, you can only mount that tool box one way! If you look the walkway on the other side of the tool chest, that points to the tracks has no "space" for that tool chest to sit on the ground that's molded as the base of the little building.

On my base, there are mounting holes for that chest to keep it to remain "square".....On the side your referring too, theres nothing to mount that tool chest too!

Mine came assembled already in a box lot of parts. It was poorly assembled with tube cement in a way that had me sanding and filing the blobs that were everywhere...you can still make out some along the bottom of the shanty itself. The trash can was added as an afterthought as I had one in my parts box, I never knew there was to be a fire barrel originally. The paint job follows my road's standard practice for RR structures.

Shay,
My model has a barrel in a real close place as you put, yours! NOT the same type barrel, but "a" barrel none-the-less.

As I said, their is no way to mount the tool chest other then where you have it so.....Looks GREAT! I appreciate the picture to help me, with the one I'm assembling! (I too plan to paint mine to my railroads "standard" practice.
