Welcome to Bayonne NJ. Our temperature Just went to 100 degrees.First time this year I think. What's good is it is dry heat. Not that ugly humid stuff you cant breath. You can actually stand or sit outside and not sweat. Once you move around you get wet. So I am planning to sit in the yard under a umbrella, or in the shade and cool down with some suds. Way to hot in the attic to run trains. frank

This is the thermometer that is seen on the barn in the back yard. all the way to the top. 123 deg. It is a dollar store one, so it is about 20 degrees to high. frank

81 and humid at 10pm here in Kannapolis, NC! Just step outside and your skin gets moist! I think I'd prefer Frank's dry 100! Party on, Frank!

Hey, Frank, That thermometer might be correct, direct sunlight against that wooden barn. Meteorological temps. are measured in the shade.
The question is: are you keeping your trains cool?
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

Yesterday, it was 98 here, and HUMID, today its 100 and HUMID in the shade its saying 113!
I got AC on full blast, and its still pushing 80 inside! (BUT, I can handle that!) So, with my surgery, sweating, really sucks so ole John stayed in in the AC as the gong back and forth is difficult to deal with for me......
My shop, on the 3rd floor, and is normally pretty warm if the AC isn't going, the past 2 weeks it wasn't been shut down at all! BUT, its still warm up there, BUT manageable, I can go up and set if I want without regret, even at 85!
As I'm typing this, the first floor of my home is a whopping 78 degrees!

And you got the humidity to kick you in the pants, to boot!
Ya shower to cool off... and while you towel dry, you're breakin' a sweat. I do not miss the mid-west living conditions! YUCK!
Dry, but hot where I live. Fans and a Mac's store help a lot!
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I used to have projects in your neck of the woods and I remember how hot it would get up there. Not nice. I prefer DTLA where we get a nice breeze.
