I must be doing something wrong, then...MY wife says she wants to SELL my trains! LOL! Oh well. I need to get them all organized and out of the main floor rooms. I just have so much. Glad you're a good Dad! And have a great wife, too.

Lucky is the man whose wife supports his train addiction! I know. My wife even attends train shows with me!

I see you scored a nearly complete Golden Eagle consist, except for the caboose. Does the gon have the Nite-Glow pipe sections?

Shaygtz, my youngest son moved out last week and I moved all my train stuff out of our pool table room and into his old room. I love the privacy and the fact I can lock everyone out and me in with my trains. The caboose came with this, but I discovered I had forgot to put it out and I was not about to take another picture just for the caboose. And "Yes", those are night-glo pipe sections, and I am quite sure where ever she got these from the rest of the set was there but she would not have known they went with the set. I already have all of the TYCO's she got for me, but I was not going to bust her bubble. Busss, If you want the Eagle, pm me.

Great GG-1 Guy! My wife doesn't get into the trains, not the models anyway.....BUT the REAL ones is a bit different! Those she finds fascinating....Which is right up my alley!

I got a decent Fathers day gift. A trip down New England Dragway, in a 1967 Dodge Dart Funny car...........sporting a 1965 426 Hemi, blown, with nitro to boot......WHAT A RUSH! 6.7 seconds later, on a TRUE quarter mile!

Pretty sweet Fathers Day gift, after having open heart surgery, I must say. the beginning of the whole thing (being belted in the 5 point harness) I heard over and over: "your not gonna have a heart attack doing this????" I bet I heard that 10 times BEFORE I was at the starting line before the "lights"!!!!!!!

At home, I got some small choo choo stuff, but my friend (ex co-worker) and my wife had planned this since last year........The car, is owned by my ex co-workers Brother......But, even tho Steve and I no longer work together, we still remain friends......

Phillip,
Yes it was SWEET I must say! See, when she told me we were going someplace on Fathers Day, Steve, showed up at my home, so I was like OK I got some company, at the time I didn't know the 2 of them were in on it!

The best part was we're going in the dragway.....Neither Steve, or my wife paid a single cent at the gates! I was like OK now this is strange! To see him in his car, and my wife and I in my car, going into the pits drive right in was a awakening! LOL SO, when I heard I was going for a "ride" I thought, right then and there I was going to ride with someone down the track. NO! I was going to be driving this machine down the track myself! I got 3 runs........Or well 3 tries anyway! ALL were in the top 6 second marks, for an Amature race car driver, I thought I did pretty good! 6.7 seconds was the fastest I did that day! NOW, I'd love to do it again, and see if I could beat that record as I know the car!

All I can say is..........ALL that you hear, is the whine and whistle of the blower, till you really press on the pedal! THEN, the loudness begins! I mean just the rip roarin' sound of that Hemi opening up was a short thrill.....I say short as that's about the time your launched at speeds you don't take your eyes off the road! (track in this case)

The first run, was interesting, as I dumped the clutch, the blue smoke just rolls off the rear tires all most instantly!

Needless to say, I got to "buddy up" with Tin, Steve's brother more often I could REALLY get into running that as a driver!
