I just bought a set of Eheim overhead catenary off Ebay, 6 pairs, 12 total. I have some, but a few were broken and some rail missing so I couldn't complete a full circle. I paid $58 for the 12, not cheap, but those old pieces are sure hard to find nowadays! So I think the price was right for what I got. I hope to get my mini-bus running this year now.

You just bought those off of me Jerry! LOL!
I almost canceled the listing because I purchased the buses this week and thought I might like to keep a set of my own. Decided since there were bids, I would let it ride.

I THOUGHT the seller name looked suspiciously like the TF member I knew! Yeah, I was surprised to find a set of these for sale, I got a bus and a near-complete set of overheads last year from an antique mart in PA near Pittsburgh, for $20 total. Seeing how these sets sell high, I was happy to get it for that. Trying to find additional flat wire to add to what I had has been almost impossible, much less the bases, but I did find a site which sells it, but 1,000 foot minimum I had to outbid someone for these as it was, by jumping 3-4 dollars at a time, and JUST got my last 3 dollar jump in the last few seconds, as it was around 50 dollars with 15 seconds to go. I just beat the other bid out with seconds to go, he was cheaping it at $1 jumps. I wanted it worse. I've actually seen some of these operating at the Timonium shows this past year, there's a club with catenary modules who have been displaying at the shows, and several of these buses have been running in addition to the trolleys. Pretty neat stuff. Just hard to come by at a reasonable price. Thanks for selling them - Jerry -
