I have discovered something I probably knew and have forgotten. The Mantua catalogs of the 50's show cars with Mantua couplers...and a part number, like 313B. In the Tyco catalogs, same car, X2F', it's a T313B.
Anyway, as I'm digging back down into this stuff, I found all the original Mantua/Tyco cars we got with the odd Version 2 Mikado. Now, these are used and abused, but they have historical value to me. We had them all except the Crazy Crystals metal side reefer, and possibly the UP MOW gon..can't remember..it's been over 50 years.
T315A Texaco Tank.

T311G B&M boxcar.

T310D RI Gondola.

T310H UP MOW Gondola.

T314C ATSF Flatcar.

T312B ACL Stockcar.

T313D Pluto Water Reefer.

T313B Crazy Crystals Reefer.

T327B B&O caboose (unlit, but metal wheels one side each truck).

This was just the stuff I had sequestered, knowing that other than one, maybe 2 items, we'd run the wheels off these cars.
It's a good thing this is digital.
I'd run Kodak out of film otherwise.
I am unable to drag more boxes out from under the desk/table right now.
But I an dive into some basement boxes.
