New in the box - Cox Sears Ho trailer on flat car -#6151-5 - Very hard to find with box - this one is mint - I was very happy to come across this - It is like Christmas morning for me finding this with the stock number as info on Cox seems to be limited. The interest in my recent YouTube video on these is also gaining interest as i get questions daily on them and the Lionel Sears boxcar by Athearn. I believe the Cox HO flats were done by Athearn as these flat cars by Cox and Athearn look just alike.

End Flap with identifying label

opposite end flap

Both sides of the factory box have these freight cars printed on them

Brian do you have a Athearn car that is the same. If so can you post a photo of it. * *
Hey Buss ! Van is a strange word. Van means front, out in the for front, leading, front line. Antonyms are words that mean the same thing and can be used in the same way. When you have a strange word the antonym can also be the reverse. like with Van , rear, end, tail. It is a mixed up word referring to both ends of something. Did you ever see pictures of a horse drawn wagon pulling a second or third wagon. that is how freight was moved for thousands of years. The ones in the back were called vans. Sometimes even the lead wagon was called a van. This probably goes back to ancient times. The word trailer is a more recent word. Somewhere a English teacher did this to us, most likely to confuses us. That is why I always hated English. it makes no sense at all. frank

The word van was used in the sailing days of tall ships. Van was the leading ships. I'm guessing it was short for vanguard. I understand why folks are confused and perturbed about the English language. It doesn't make sense and I was born in the USA.
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

Mb - the Term " van " is still used in trucking industry by some if not most - those not around trucking wouldn't know
