I was hoping to get a nice group photo of my Tyco Piggybacks this evening, but fell way short. Tried a location that didn't workout well & I killed a lot of time.. Guess I can take a nice pic in the spring with better location & lighting. I have posted a few smaller pics from tonight. 10 of every trailer except the yellow Stake trailers where there's 5 shown. (Now have 8, on December 24th).. Have 5 or 6 each of the yellow & green Kenworth cabs now...

Very nice display, Walt! I wondered where all of those eBay purchases were ending up.
You really need a sign above it all that says "Walt's Trailer Park."

Thank You, Stephen.. Went a little crazy on the piggybacks... but I really enjoy having them... I still find myself fighting the urge to bid, on the more rare ones on Ebay! Still buying the yellow stock trailers once in a while, to get the number up to 10..I have 8 as of Dec 24th...

It appears we have another victim of the infamous "slippery slope". (Dramatic music plays)Oh, and no problem.

Yes, Stephen... I was on the slope badly buying 6 of each trailer, , then I decided to raise it to 10 each! After realizing my own insanity I forced myself to stop at 10. I've only bought 1 or 2 trailers (yellow horse stock) in the last year and a half... I can say that I am finished buying rolling stock in general. May pick up only 3 or 4 more Tyco rolling pieces in the future..

At least you finally stopped. On top of that, I'm glad I don't really have that issue.

Thought I would bring this thread up so RP could see the variety of different trucks and trailers offered by Tyco. I now have 10 of every one of the trailers and more Kenworth truck tractors than in the photos.

Hey, Robert! I saw your post while I was at work so I can talk to you now that I'm off. Years ago I got to liking the piggyback trailers and Cabs and started what turned out to be an obsession. I had quite a few and decided to buy 6 of each and then stop. At the time some of these, True Value, Tropicana and Bubble Yum were selling in the $40s and a couple went into the low $50s... If that wasn't bad enough I decided I wanted 10 of each trailer... So when I got to 10, I had to force myself NOT to bid on anymore. I did buy some of the truck tractor/cabs as I wanted some of the Kenworths... The red ones are fairly easy to come by, the yellow not so common nor is the green... So since I have reached my goal after years of buying I really don't want to part with any of them. I would just have to go back and replace them... Sorry to be that way, but most of them show up on Ebay fairly often plus it's easier if you don't want TEN of each!!

Okay, I understand, so...all the ones pictured plus the others you have are part of your specific collection, no "extras" or what I mean is, more than your goal? :(

Correct, Robert. I don't buy things that I don't want but sometimes get things in an auction with multiple items in it that I buy for one car. Over the years I have made a few trades to members but not many, and donated MicroBen some things I couldn't use. I'm now down to buying ground cover turfs of different colors. I might pick up 1 or 2 more rolling stock some day...

Okay, I totally understand. :)
About ground turfs, I've used up all of my Woodland Scenics bags of green turf....but I do have a couple spare SceneMaster type "sand" products. Not sure if you can use those or not, let me know, because I currently am not.

If you are referring to Walt that is a true statement. He has a few. Speaking of him we hope he is fine. He has not signed on for two months.

I bought one of those trailers at an antique store for only three dollars.
Salvation Army store in Elmont New York is the location where I bought the trailer. These photos later I took at Beaver Pond in Mill Neck New York.
