Well this is all of it, this will be the last time I post it all on the forum. I'll be letting this sale go until the first of March and then, either sell the whole thing as a lot to an interested buyer or piece it out on ebay. Either way, as most of you have seen, my priorities are now shifting due to my son's new adventure and I don't have the time to do these sales any longer. I'll still be around but I won't be nearly around as much as I have been. Prices on most items are negotiable, as long as the offer made isn't kicking me in the “planters”, if you know what I mean. Thanks for everything!

Tyco/Mantua:

Mantua/Tyco Santa Fe 040 Booster $30

Santa Fe GP-20 Diesel $15

Stokely Van Camp's $5

UP unlighted Caboose $2

Shell Triple Dome $8

Tyco 50th Anniversary $5

Spirit of '76 Freight $20 for set or $8 each

Westinghouse Pre-production Sample Set $80

Bachmann:

Gravy Train Open Hoppers (decal mock-ups) $5 each

The Rock Open Hopper $5

The Rock Open Hopper (missing rear axel) $2

BN Yellow $6

BASF Triple Dome $8

SF GE U36B $15

SF EMD F9 $15

SF EMD FT Double $20

Market Street Brill Trolley $10

PRT Brill Trolley $10

Zenith Video Express (one left) $50

Purina Promo Mock Up (sample pre-prod) $75

Power House Yard Boss $75

Pine Sol Promotional Mock Up (sample pre-prod) $75

Old West Overland Freight $50

DeWitt Clinton Set $30

Assorted Plasticville Building Kits $5 each

AHM:

Kellogg's Blue $10

Ray-O-Vac $8

1979 Christmas (unassembled) $5

WR Grace $6

Wonder Bread $8

UP Gondola $5

Oscar Meyer Private Owner $10

Johnston's Pies $8

Scottie's $8

Tropicana $6

Planter's LIMA/ITALY mock-up $10

Shell 40' Triple Dome $5

Dual Crossing Gates (lighted) $10

Masterpiece Series S Building Kits $25 each or $60 for set

SF Alco RS2 $10 each

Loader and Boxes $2

Assorted signage $1 each

I also have some people, gravel bags, track accessories (aprons and switches), and a few other things that I will be throwing in as freebies for my regulars and big spenders. If you don't run brass track, let me know so I don't send you something useless.

And for my N scale guys:

So, here we have The Old Timer in N scale sealed in the box, and another full set sans track and power in styrofoam molds. The anaprox promotional set, a Santa Fe diesel, the Market Street and PRT Brill trolleys, the CTA and PE Streamline trolleys, a 1776 American Bicentennial caboose, and a Peabody Open Quad Hopper. Taking offers.

And slot cars:

40 degree hi banked oval track from Tyco $10

I literally have an entire box of this track. I don't know if it's all flat or if some can be banked but the box sits about a foot high and long and is full of Tyco track. If you want it, $10 plus shipping and you can has it.

Thanks again for everything!!

Sign me up for the 50th Anniv car, the Christmas car, the Santa Fe Booster (its such a cute little giu), the lot of assorted signs, the three triple dome tankers, ... and if the current requester for the Spirit of 76 falls thru, I'll take those also.
Cheers

Bill,
The Christmas car, the signs, and the tankers are all you friend! I actually sold the 040 and shipped it out yesterday though :( and as for the '76 lot, well you see my man GG1-Guy is still on board for that sale. As for the 50th anniversary, I'm waiting to hear back from Justin to see if he still wants it but if I don't get a response by tomorrow, it's all yours too. :)

I'm more than happy to go with what was not spoken for on my list.

I went to an estate sale this morning and picked up 7 cars for $5 each - including a triple dome tanker and two Durango and Silverton - a passenger and a freight/passenger, a 40' Santa Fe Dome, a Santa Fe red freight, a wood carrier (looks more like twigs than the Tyco version) plus a Dr Pepper car. Several are made by Backman but the rest are unmarked.

The sale had several engines in the $35 to $50 range plus a 3 car Star Wars train for $150. He also had 3 layouts - 2 HO and 1 N with minimum decorations but they were very pricey. The guy was also into model cars and airplanes - but kept no boxes.

Cheers

John-

I never really thought of that!! I guess technically I have all the qualifications but I usually go on the OTW topics just to see what other guys have gotten and to learn more about trains in general :)

My participation in the forum is usually limited to looking at your guys' layouts and selling since I don't have a layout myself. I am considering starting a layout myself though, you all make it seem so exciting!

Thanks for stopping by my thread and making me feel good :)

SHE'S ALIVE SHE'S ALIVE!

I believe we've created a.................... MOMSTIR!!!
The passion is lit... the passion will grow!
Eventually, both mom and dear Rocco will be looked upon in great resemblance and care... "she's not a little off... she's Right On!"
Precious!

"...I am considering starting a layout myself though, you all make it seem so exciting! ..."
Remember what I said in another of your threads, let us know when you need recommendations as to what model trains to get, buy new or buy back from those of us who have bought from you.
"We" will lead you in the right direction. And, only dog knows, you might even go dcc when you hear... and I mean "Hear" the difference between EMD and GE locomotives... yes, those bells and whistles are not only for steam locomotives! Your Rocco's ears will absorb, and his eyes will light up... and his smile will be quite transfixed... "Again, MOMMY!"

Serious, it'll happen. It's happened to us.

John

Hey everyone,

Just checking in to thank everyone who has looked and especially those who purchased items from my sales. You all have helped my family out more than you know and I am deeply appreciative. Thanks for all the patience and help and just for being an awesome group of train enthusiasts in general. I'll still be around from time to time to check in with everyone I've come to know here :)

There are a few items I have been holding for a few members, and if you could please contact me by Friday to either arrange payment or relinquish your hold...I would really appreciate it. These guys are: TycoNut, BriansTyco, and GG-1Guy.

Also there are a few members who have arranged payment and may be waiting on your items, I will still be in touch via PM so rest assured, you are not forgotten ;)

I plan to post the left over items on eBay by next Monday, unless someone makes a solid offer on the remainder of my stock.

So, thank you all again for everything!
