I was at a hobby shop i frequent the other day, and they sell lots of stuff on consignment. I was looking through the buildings aisle and I found two kits by roundhouse products, a house and an apartment, in the old time style. I didnt know that roundhouse made structure kits and would like to know more about them. I bought the apartment and put it together. It is of modular construction and has the most molded in detail of any kit I have seen.

Sorry for the wait, I haven't had time to post a photo. Here is the apartment, I did not by the house, but it looks to be of the same construction.
I built the kit and added signs from the life like hotel.
 Here is the box.
As I said before this kit is simple but has lots of molded-in detail.

I think that kit was sold by Life-Like for many years, but I had no idea Roundhouse ever sold buildings, let alone that particular model. Interesting!
Speaking of Life-Like, another building kit of theirs was the modular factory, which AFAIK originated as a modular building kit from Tru-Scale (they of wood roadbed fame). I have a box for the Tru-Scale version of the kit.

Interesting, i know life like had one hotel but I didn't know they made this particular kit. If you are confused by the Belvedere Hotel signs I put those on there seperately. They did not come with the kit.

Ah, I was indeed thrown by that. I kept thinking that seemed too detailed even in that original dark photo, but at first glance it's "close enough" (footprint, floors, dimensions) that I didn't bother with a Google double-check. So that's NOT the same LL Belvedere. Still a nice looking kit, though! I wonder if it is still made and sold.
