Hello. I found this forum and thought maybe someone might be able to give me some information. I found virtually nothing about this set except for a thread on this forum that mentioned the rarity of this set.

A number of years ago I was given a wooden Tyco train set box with a bunch of miscellaneous track, cars, and locomotive. I cleaned up and am using what was in good enough shape to use. My question is - is just the box collectable? I thought about putting it on ebay, but shipping it would cost a bunch. There is a train show near where I live and thought I might lug it there to sell it at their consignment table. Any idea what it might be worth? The metal nameplate is still on the front and the box is in good shape. Most of the label is still inside inside the lid showing the original contents and the $99.99 price.
