Hyde,

I watched the video... You make a great producer. You need a director who's just as good as you are.

A brighter background makes for a darker foreground. The introduction/front titles are excellent. Your subject opening and closing effects are excellent.
Change the camera angle to look towards the back wall... it won't blind the camera's lens.
Recorded railway sounds through the video would be the cherry on top of this dessert-like film.
A director... man, with what you put together in this video, the story line is consistent.

Granted there were some unexpected stalls of locomotives (it woudn't move) until you got a second locomotive to bump it... Nice save.

But, I cringe on the use of regular track cleaners/abrasives... I've been using the lip balms in stick form... I have NO wheel-to-rail contact issues.

Hyde, good video. My thoughts are leaning towards a 'production' title...

"Another Hyde & Seek Production" Presents a Forsite Inc. Masterpiece..."

or

"Jeckle & Hyde Films" Presents Another "Life/Personality Change Documentary ..."

You and DaCheez would make a great pear of bananas, with side-splitting fun & laughs, besides an awesome creation of information... I know, there's some great mileage between Ontario and California... but hey, you've got green grass growing outside.

Among my ship-shape jibberish, I think you have the makings of a great beginners passion for model trains!

John

p.s. well, that's what I think, anyway!

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I'm sorry to bring up the bug, but that was like my favorite EVER! It had the incredible mr. limpet in it for crying out loud! Anyway, the car is awesome and the train is just as awesome. I really dig your scenery and the attention to detail that you put into it :D

Zombievickers don't worry I was messing around but like when random people do it then I get mad! Cause what's the point of watching the video if your just gonna talk about the bug! Don't worry your fine

Very nice video. Just reposting it to show its intro photo.

Saw in another video the layout was going to be dismantled.
Wonder how the new layout is today?

Also dismantled. Hyde needed to use his garage as a machine shop for his job. When he left 5 years ago he stated he had a point to point layout at his girlfriend's. He also said he was keeping his whole collection for the day the Santa Clarita would steam up again.
