Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if any of you collect Tyco's slot car stuff but I have a VERY rare set that I am selling. It's the TycoPro Grand National Richard Petty/Bobby Allison set. I listed it on hobbytalk.com and have gotten some good offers. The top offer right now is 2000. I'm only listing it until Friday because the proceeds of this sale are going to the Newtown Memorial Fund for the victims of the shooting in Connecticut and I want to get the check sent there before Christmas. So if you are interested please send me a PM as soon as possible.
Here's a picture:

Thanks!

| yea it's worth a bit of coin. the cars are pretty rare but the track is a very sought after track. the car you saw at 153 probably had a bit of tinkering done to it or was in okay shape. THIS beauty is still sealed in the box! What?! 2000 is a really good offer. I have heard this set go for up to 3000 give or take but you know, the economy and whatnot.

Really nice, set of old TycoPro! Great to see! I'm sure this sealed set is worth a few bucks... The cars seem to control the price of sets sold on Ebay or elsewhere. Truth is that in my 12 years of recollecting Tyco slots & train, I've learned the very few collectors or users have any use for the old style track.
I grew up using the old style track and still like it today mainly because you can stick a bunch of the little road & rail crossings together on a four lane or larger.
This track had the connecting tabs that broke off seemingly if you looked at 'em wrong. I would say this track is the least desired slot car track by far, compared to the AFX, Newer Tyco, or Model Motoring
Walt
Luck, usually comes dressed in work clothes...

| I got my first offer from the aurora slot car king himself but his interest was because he wanted the track (he already has the cars) but someone out bid him and I don't blame him for not wanting to go higher since he already has the cars.
