Alright everyone,
I appologize for the delay in response to the private messages I have recieved and also for being absent from the forum. It's been an extremely hard few weeks in my real life. However, I'm back now and I've decided what to do...
Because I don't feel comfortable accepting private offers through PM on any of the pieces I've listed, I will be accepting bids on THIS forum thread only. That way everyone can see what everyone else has offered and I don't feel like a freakin crook. Anything that does not recieve an offer on the forum will go to auction on eBay come Wednesday. So, if you don't have an eBay account, you have an opportunity to make a serious offer on the forum.
There are a few pieces that will not be up for any offer right now. Those pieces are: The Consolidated Paper mounted car The Quaker piggy back The Witco Chemical Tanker The Hunt's Reefer
Everything else is fair game. I do ask that there is no drama/flaming on any offers made. I won't accept offers that start to stir up trouble and will gladly list them on eBay so as to not have to deal with it. I'm not trying to be difficult, I just don't care for trouble.
If you need any additional information or pictures of any car, I will be happy to help.
Please note: on the "mounted" cars, these are preprod samples and mock ups. Since they were mounted and used as sales samples, some of them are missing the wheel on the end of the car and some are missing stirrups. I have kept them in the best condition possible but they do not have boxes so they will be shipped as is. They can be removed from the track pieces for use in your model railroad but the plink screws on the mounts hold the wheel axel in place, so that will be left up to you.
Thank you all for your interest...

| There have been 2 private sales. One of which I had been discussing with that individual since I first posted a list of my stock in the other forum and 1 sale to a member whom is not usually active on the forum. I do prefer to conduct business in the open but if I'm sent a PM with an offer I will accept immediately, I won't demand a public offer.

So it has gotten around to me that a few people are concerned about me ripping them off since I am asking for money orders...
I just want to clear a few things up.
I'm not out to rip ANYONE off here. I understand that this is an extremely impersonal form of communication and that you guys don't know me from Adam, so all I can do is use my verbose thread here to let you know that ripping people off is not my game. I don't like lies, and I would never steal anything from anyone.
The reason I asked for money orders is because I have never really sold anything online. I have a paypal account but it charges a 2.9% fee for every transfer. Call me greedy or whatever, but let me repeat that I am selling this stuff for my Grandmother and every penny counts for her, she's 80 and lives off of Social Security and her husband has been gone for 15 years...I'm just trying to get her the best deal I can. I'm sorry if it scared some of you off.
I also have a PO Box for the money orders to be sent to, and the reason for this is I don't know any of you either...no offence but I don't really want a bunch of strangers having my or my Grandmother's home address.
Oh, and for the sake of honesty...I am really a woman. I listed my gender as male on the forum because I wanted to be taken seriously and not as some froo froo what's her face who is completely train-ignorant. Not that I assume any of you would jump to such conclusions, but hey, life lessons you know?
So anyway I appologize if anyone thought I was being a scammer or whatever, that's not my intention here...I'm just a girl with a crap-load of trains that I need to sell and need someone to sell them to.

So after some consideration, Ive decided to keep taking offers on the forum. Id really rather see this stock go to people who will really appreciate it for what it is. Besides, I hate eBay. Ill eventually list whatever doesn't sell here but I don't think Ill list it until late January, so if you still want something let me know...
Also, next week I will start going through my Bachmann stock and posting that as well in case anyone is interested.
Have a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays guys!

I recently posted about some little fraudster who joined the forum back in October and offered a P2K PA-1 for sale and stiffed me; thankfully the transaction was through PayPal and I used a protected transfer method. If I had sent the money as a gift or used a MO, I'd be out $36. I too have made purchases here with money orders, but only from those I trust. Nothing personal, but after this last experience it's PayPal or nothing. A buyer can easily add a little to the cost to defray PP's charges.

| It's not that I'm opposed to taking paypal payments, like I said, this is really pretty much my first time ever selling anything online. I'm just kind of figuring it out as I go. I'm sure the people I've already sold to will vouch for me when they recieve their goods. It's not as though I'm going anywhere anytime soon. I have a lot more trains to offer.

For what it's worth, I can now officially vouch for Ms. Zombie's stockpile and transactions as above board and legit. I sent payment last week and my selections arrived today. Not only that, but they were carefully packed (seriously, I've bought from veteran ebayers who could take a lesson or two from this) and every bit as described and pictured, if not better.
So no complaints here; Teresa's a straight shooter and I will definitely be buying more.

Count me as a very satisfied "customer".

Hello to all! I'm new here,so I really don't know is this the right place to ask my question: where in Canada (especially Toronto) can I find the locomotive from 1991 (I think that's the year) Railroad empire II? It's this set : http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/854/tycosets1991railroademp.jpg/
Or if I could find just the electric motor,it would be fine, too.
Thanks a lot! Vlada

Thanks, GG-1 Guy! But I have allready seen that one on e-bay,and they ship only to US,and like I said,Canada would suit me more. Not to mention that it is the whole set for sail. I've found the site for the manufactor in Slovenia, former Yougoslavian republic, and have contacted them,so all that's left is to wait a little! The site is www.mehano.si
and sorry for my not-so-great english!
