Hello to my fellow Tyco HO fans. Purchasing a Bachmann Thomas the Train set for my 2 year old last Christmas really brought back memories… Luckily my mother packed away the Tycos from my youth. Over this past year, I've bought extra fast track and resurrected a Life-Like Campbell Soup set with my son. In addition, this holiday season my son and I cleaned up those old Tycos and got two of the engines running again (a Spirit of '76 and another blue engine marked Baltimore & Ohio) along with plenty of box cars. My son has had a blast helping clean up the old stock and watching them come to life again on the track. After reading so much negative about Tyco around the web, it was great to come across this forum and it's wealth of information. Hoping I can get a few more old soldiers up and running again with your help. Thanks to all here who have posted and shared their knowledge.

Welcome artskull! I came here for the same reason, only realistic help when it comes to Tyco and Mantua! We're all HO, anything from AHM to Varney!
