Nope not me
that was EM-1
but his pic is exactly what i am looking for. with the double yellow lines.
guess there is no standard way to mark
I've seen a round logo with R R and an X on the street but damn hard to duplicate
Bought white auto stripe tape today, perfect for road marking and will also paint yellow.
will take pick when done

Yes, I made that! Its a display case, that I'm "dating" the landscaping to be around 1944/45...
I will have my 2 Yellowstone's in there, one on the track you see with the RR crossing, and the other will be setting on a high trestle!
Back in the days I plan that model to be, they didn't have all this "RXR" crossing stuff.......So, it would all depend on what you plan to model. (I actually could have gotten away with nothing "marking" the stopping point OR anything in that location but that was about the time they began to "mark" a good stopping distance from the closest rail to the front of the automobile so.......
I'll have to post the pictures of the whole thing, here for those to see!

Here ya go......

The above pictures, are without the proper models in place! The following pictures, will have the 2 models I planned this display case for....

Notice, that the "BALTIMORE & OHIO" is REALLY big, yes they did letter some viaducts as such, HOWEVER, not that big of lettering, I did that purposely, for the display case......it be roughly 3/4th that size in HO scale.......But, I wanted it to "stick out" as a display piece, so to speak!
Looks good I think! There's even water effects in it as well......

here it is went to NAPA and got white 1/8 pin striping. A b---- to work with, sticks everywhere but wanted. I could relay the white to be straighter. Doesn't stick the best to black top (320 sand paper)
Painted it yellow for the double yellow line.
I bought 36 ft of it so if some one wants some for line painting a road, let me know via P M with address and I'll mail it

| EM-1, that is so sweet! My wife heard me talking about it and took a peak, she said "It was beautiful" and I have to agree. How did you make it and how long did it take. It looks better than my layout. LOL!

i bought white and painted what i needed yellow but i believe it comes in other colors. What i bought is double stripe which made it hard to deal with peeling one off at a time from the backer

Wow, that is really realistic-looking! I never thought of using old shingle leftovers for that. Hmmm.....
