Hello, just got back from the large model railroad show in Springfield Mass. Very crowded, could hardly move around. Lots of Lionel and American Flyer and new HO but not much tyco. And almost no tyco new in the box. I did pick-up afew items. I think I did pretty good as nothing was more than $5.00

Oh sure...the americans have no trouble finding Canadiana stuff at trains shows[:D]. If you look at the side of the boxcar around where the wheels are, is there mould or dirt or anything on the white paint? Alot of the Canadiana boxcars I see on Ebay seem to be mouldy around there.

Nice Find of odd TYCO 50' Plug Doors! Cool Stuff and sounds like it was at good prices too.

Don't think there was any big announcements at the show of new products. Heard word that Atlas did show a Ford Fairmont Station Wagon example in at least HO-scale. They just recently annouced the Fairmont in HO and N, but only as a 4-door...the show apparently may have had this Station Wagon as a new pre-production example.

Believe that Ford wheelbase, should allow Atlas to fairly easily make the Ford Granada and Mercury Monarch autos of the '70s and I think the early '80s downsized LTD fits that general frame too. Perhaps also the 1980-1982 T-Bird and Cougar too.
