I thought $30 for a P2K PA-1 was too good to be true. Nearly a month after I sent payment and 11 days after I escalated the case, PayPal has refunded my money. This guy joined the forum, made 3 posts, gladly took my money, and vanished without a trace, or the tracking number he promised. The loco, if there ever was one, was never shipped. He offered no response to the PP dispute, so I won by default.

This is just a warning to everyone to protect yourself if you don't know who you're dealing with. Use PayPal, and be aware that sending money as a purchase may incur a fee for the seller, but it also offers you payment protection. Other options like sending money as a gift offer none.

Fortunately this is my only bad experience through this forum, so one bad apple as they say...

This is why I only buy from repetitive members or very active members.

It's always a calculated risk, but a lot of us have bought from people who joined to sell collections without any issues. It's nice to have a recourse when someone's less than honest.
