Am I crazy or did Tyco make this same kit?

here's mine. A fairly new Walthers Machine Shop kit. Assembled same day of purchase and I love it! I bought it specifically to house my favorite engine, my Roundhouse 2-8-0 Circus edition! Right now it's undergoing a boiler respray. While my layouts been torn apart I've been doing all my heavy repairs in this shop! The roof is removable so you can see all my projects! It won't be this cramped when its' on my new layout!
there's parts and pieces everywhere, in and out of the shop!

I believe they did. Today, I just bought the Model Power production of this kit, marketed as a saloon. It was new in the box, but it has a molding defect. Do you think I get (by asking or paying) MP for a replacement part?
For kicks, would it be worth going over to their office in Farmingdale? That's not very far from me, and now that I have my driver's license....
