OK, finally got the motor for my GG-1. Now, I need to know which way the wheels go. How are they facing and how do I know they;re facing the correct way?

Justin, The 6 drivers? If I'm not mistaken off the top of my head, they would be facing the way the truck faces for the "pilot" trucks are...... longer end of the drivers frame to the ends of the frame/shell.
I hope I am not confusing what your actually meaning here as this is what it sounds like.....
Pictures on this one would help greatly!

That would depend! Which trucks are you mentioning here? The "pilot trucks"? OR the driver frames? As they too are like a truck!?
Easiest way would be to following the parts sheet I posted! Then, you know its right!

Just the wheel directions! I think they're all back wards! Pilot frames and all are good, just my wheels!

Have fun turning them all around! That GG-1 has as many wheels as a Challenger.......4-6-6-4!
You could ALWAYS reverse the wiring instead to the motor and it still run the same direction as everything else if you want to save yourself some work!

I don't remember off the top of my head, but just use deductive reasoning. Orient the pickup disks so they're all on one side in each truck, and find out which combination makes it run in the same direction as a known loco.

Got it figured out! At least I didn;t have to touch the gear'd truck again! I took it apart for cleaning and those wheels were the only ones facing the right way! Thanks for the help Nelson and John.
