My COTW is rather wordy - a thralldoor newsprint billboard car. I hope to have an all-thrall consist one day, I've been buying them up as I find different ones at shows. I have about 8 or 9 now, I think. Not all in one place yet, still organizing the house and trains. Anyway, here she is :

My caboose of the week is a no-named multi-mark Canadian road model. They... It's used to seat extra brake personnel on switching duties, more people = faster and quicker.
Jerry, your car is actually a bulk-head roof-top vertical roll-up door flat-car, for clean lading... news-print paper rolls. Also, each title printed is from Canadian news paper titles. The one I recognize is towards the right end, "The Kamloops Daily News"... 5th from the end "...LOOPS DA..."
Nice entries, y'all!
John

Looks like you're modeling in 1:1 scale, John! Must get quite expensive.

looks like a ex-CP caboose BUT this is proof you don't need roadname or reporting marks on cars So why is it blank anyway?

Not sure as to why CP isn't repainted on the sides. I guess they decided to not spend the money, go figure! The other two cabooses are properly done. The Multi-marks are sometimes correctly matched up, (<>) uh, something like that.
1:1... yes, quite expensive. The critters inside demand to be fed 3 times a day!

Ray is it a original Pocher of Italy car ? These came also in a combine. Try to find ones with the other style roof. They also had a baggage car. frank

I have a couple of The V&T cars too. They are like the first W&A style I posted.
I didn't realize that Pocher made the other style cars until I found the W&A combine recently. (which compare closely to the Bachmann cars).

I have the AHM version of that crane tender car (it goes with my AHM crane) and it is probably my worst-running car. The weight does not balance it so it leans to one side, and the trucks are junk. I will keep it though cause my policy is "thou shalt not throw any model railroad stuff away, lest it become useful in times future."
It's not a bad car though, so I will fix it sometime.
