Cool vid. The ESOS car is one of my favorite versions of the 50' boxcar - even if it is incorrect and strangely messed up.

Yours seems to "chug" much more slowly than mine, from what I recall of it. I wonder why that is?

Need to get a pic of that goofy, one-of-a-kind geared truck they use to trigger the sound unit. Quite simple and clever (and irreplaceable). The coupler pocket is broken on mine.

I also have a Santa Fe Shock-control boxcar, that was painted on the modified ESOS boxcar mold. It even has a chassis with unpunched cutouts for the special truck! [:0]


Finally - should you come across one with a dry-rotted or blown speaker, as I have - the BIOS "beep" speaker from many types of old computers is a near-exact, perfect-fit-and-function replacement! [}:)]
