I have a Bachmann AT&SF 0-6-0 diesel switcher in blue & yellow. What was the real life counterpart of this-was it a Plymouth switcher? If so, what was the locomotive's designation? [img]

hi a6m5zerosen,as far as I can ascertain its a pure fantasy loco, Plymouth did make a 0-4-0 diesel which was pretty close though I am sure that if I am wrong I will be corrected ken
all the MDT `s i found were 0-4-0 configuration

It's a Plymouth MDT. This 40 tonner is the only prototype I've been able to find, tho it lacks the front porch. Bachmann was the only one to use 6 wheels. I think AHM first offered their Mehano version in the 60's, and then others copied them.
