I just won this yesterday, a slow news day I guess. Interesting that it has one AMX with all the others being Camaros. According to BriansTycos video it's from '72-74. I got it in a buy it now and free shipping auction with the nice "painted artwork" box too. Auction pic. After I committed to buy I noticed it has about four spot lights missing.

Anyone know if that was ever sold as a kit?

I've seen them complete like this and beaten up with a lot of things missing but I've never seen a kit at auction. I think they, Tyco, did have another Service Station kit though.

Walt,
Without checking I'd say you're right cause Esso became Exxon in the '70s.

I love the gas stations. Awesome choice Alco! I sold one a few years ago which had the art deco construction style, similar to this piece, exactly like this one in fact:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/280906597421?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
but it had a fullly detailed interior. I sold it for $10 at a train show back in 2007 and have regretted selling it ever since... I might buy this one and try to recreate what I had from memory...
This is my 3-fer BOTW. Purchased it as a set of three buildings yesterday for ~$19
It is a shoe maker and a Barber shop and a lumber supply:

This will be my first BOTW posting, so here goes...
This is essentially a stock city classics west end market. I added details like a homemade soda machine, crates, and boxes of fruit on a table. Inside I used paper print-outs to make shelves. I added a Kroger grocery store sign to complete it. The other two sides are pretty much stock. I also added a cardboard base.
I also have the Al's victory service kit. i repainted it not too long ago, I have a picture in my new layout topic.

ChessieRR,
Very creative work with the printouts, pop machine and sign too. Does Kkroger fit for your home town?

Thanks! There are lots of Kroger stores in my area so there's no reason why it shouldn't work on my layout too.
