I finally went back to my local hobby shop and found some things I had been looking for for a long time, specifically, some tyco piggyback trailers and flats. I believe I got 4 burlington northern trailers, two bekins trailers, two santa fe trailers, two up, 3 athearn of various logos. I paid $25 for everything.

Once again thanks to the wonderful people at the hobby shop. I am constantly amazed by there large selection. The only thing I regret is not having enough money to buy all the trailers and flatcars they had.

It's in Houston, Texas, where I live. The name of the store is Papa Ben's Train Place.

I am definetley still looking for some of them. I don't have any containers right now but I know there is at least one boxed sealand container set, and then a whole bunch of sealand containers with no flat car.

NP759, I'm only in need (or want) of 4 trailers now & I've been in no hurry to get them.
Left to buy is 2 Bekins, 1 True Value and 1 yellow stake trailer...

ChessieRR, IF Ben doesn't grab the Bekins I would buy them from you...

I'll think about it, but I'm in no hurry to sell any of my nice trailers

Considering they cost me about $2, it could be a worthwhile investment...

Let me know, PM me on it!

I went back to the same store, and no one had bought the rest of the trailers! So I picked up 9 more, 7 of the sealand (yes they have the back bumper, I was careful to make sure they weren't just containers on the trailer chassis) and 2 U.P. with a flatcar. I think I have enough for my trailer terminal now.

Hey, Ben...I'm almost done with my trailer buying but I do want to get 2 more nice crisp Bekins trailers. I have 8 nice ones and wanna do 10...

Funny that I am 6 trailers away from being done and I have not put much effort into buying the remaining ones...

Hopefully I can put pictures up of my trailer yard and the rest of my layout soon.

In the meantime I have dug into my junk bin and found some fencing for the perimeter.
