Just wanted to say hi. I came across this site while lookin on e-bay and considering selling some of the trains I have here. I have already answered a request from Tony about a catalog. My experiences: Starting in @ 1975, I remember Hounding hobby stores to try and collect all the new items from Tyco (every year) Looking hard and long for that damn Shazzam box car for my son and finding it in SanFrancisco while on a family vacation Putting up my first platform with @ 8 running sets and finding out I have no none 0 cabooses Going to Tyco (I live in Phila.) and buying for top $$ the cars I was missing that year Getting side rails for the engines that came without them Sitting up until 3 AM trying to make things work after my kids got their hands in them Findig a box car thet was painted only on one side and taking it back for a "good" one DUH Soud familiar? Anyway Hi to all, if there is a particular car someone wants I may have it '75-'89 i am lookingh to gain some closet space and maybe make someone out there smile to get a rare item. Ask and I will answer.
OH yeah if there are any spelling errors it's the computers fault not mine I know what I meant

Until just recently, I didn't know that my Great Grandfather was an engineer for the PRR and that my dad used to ride with him as a young teen. That's a classic photo you have. Alco Fan

Yeah it's a B&O something, some kind of switcher or shifter I think. There is another around here somewhere taken of us @ same time frame out the engineers window on a B&O steam loco. dad was a fireman on B&O for a while, grandfather was a conductor for PRR and I remember standing at the Kingsessing station here in Philadelphia watching The GG-1's go by crushing pennies dad & I put on the track.
