Hey guys:

Some time ago, about 2-3 years I think we were talking about a book that featured all sorts of different locomotives from all over the world. It had coloured drawings of the loco's and some photo's as well as text.

I think it had a white softbound cover but I can't think of the name.

Ken I thought you mentioned you had a copy, if you know the one I mean please let me know...

Thanks,
Gareth

I have this book, it was available both in hard and soft cover:

http://www.amazon.com/Great-Book-Trains-Brian-Hollingsworth/dp/0760311935/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336156906&sr=8-1

Lots of familiar illustrations as well as photos, a pretty comprehensive reference. Not sure if that's what you had in mind, but it fits your description...

Hey Tony:

Actually it wasn't that one but the Amazon DB association engine kicked out the one I was looking for:

http://www.amazon.com/Illustrated-Directory-Trains-World-Hollingsworth/dp/0760308918/ref=pd_sim_b_1

If I can't find mine I'll have to get another copy...

Thanks for the assist Pal!
