While cleaning up stuff my cat had knocked over in my bedroom , I came across this item I'd bought awhile back, and had forgotten about. It's a clear plastic card, credit-card sized, that has HO scale reps of little humans, male, female, 1-year-old, and other useful info, the object being to carry this in your wallet, and you can do a visual comparision to stuff like diecast trucks and cars without carrying a 3D figure or something hard to use. It has scale height in feet from 1-21 feet, a scale 7' ruler, diameter in 6 inch scale increments, etc. I've already put it in my wallet (finally), so it'' be available to use when I"m at Wal-mart or other stores. Here's the website to check it out at :
www.thescalecard.com
based in Crestline, CA.
Another item that I will try using to see how useful it really is.

Just thought I'd post a pic of the card, so you can see it's size and scale markings.

I actually used it today, I went to a Dollar Tree store at lunch, and they had some non-mainstream diecast vehicles, and I checked out a Toyota Tacoma p/u with the card, looks like HO to me, so that was a take-homer. Glad I got it on me now, to check out diecast possibilities with an actual flat HO scale guy and gal.
