Ken , Not sure about that yet. I will be looking for some engines with 4-6-0 drives latter to convert to Camelbacks. I actualy think the drivers on that locomotive are to large. I dont know what size they should realy be, but those look to be very large. I need to pick out which railroad I wish to model, then get info on wheel sizes and wheel base length. Then try to match that up to a manufactured loco. * At this time to much to do to catch with what is waiting for work and modification. frank

Ken. Have you seen the die cast 4-6-0 camelback made by New one, HO train Co. it was a 25 ' 6" wheel base, with 69" drivers. Its wheel base is over 3 " to long. It was a very good to scale HO locomotive. Compared to the die cast Wreen 4-6-0 I have. It has a almost 32' wheel base with 82" drivers. The Triang B-12 has a 31' wheelbase with 80" drivers. It also is inside connected and can't be used anyway. The Lima king George is the biggest with a 33' wheel base with 84" drivers. The largest CNJ 4-6-0 wheelbase for a camelback is 25' 2 1/2 " with 69" drivers. The smallest CNJ I can find is 24' 2". The L2 class had 62" drivers. * I really dont have the time to go into this any further then to say the British engines won't work as they are built. Frank

Beautiful loco, Ken. Their paint job is excellent.
I have the diagram for it, if you need it. I didn't realize the motor was in the tender.
