I was casually looking online at Amazon and came across Jeff Wilson's Detailing Diesel Locomotives (2007) being offered for over $40.00!
Since the original retailed for between $15-20, this sounds ridiculous, despite Kalmbach not stocking it on their website anymore.
Does anyone have this edition that wants to part with it, say for $ 10.00?

I bought whatever edition was in print in 2002 for about $10 new. I wasn't aware it had been updated, but I imagine the techniques couldn't have changed that much. It really is worth the read if you're not sure "where to begin". I've not used my copy in a few years so I could maybe loan it to you or copy an article of interest...
...but it now occurs to me I'd need to find it first. Curses!

Tony,
PM me on that book, if you find it. I continued searching the net, but that particular edition by Jeff Wilson is apparently already out of print and those $40.00+ copies I did see on Amazon are way out of line. It may well be that he did a re-write of the earlier version of the book by another author. I would just borrow it and mail it back, or if you want to sell it to me, fine also.
