Anybody here own, operate or collect Ken Kidder brass engines? They seem very unique in every way! Are any of the engines actual prototypes or free lanced? I see a few once and a while on the 'bay.

Sean? Paging A69Mustangforme!
But seriously, yes people do collect them. Most of them were based on small plantation tank engines or yard switchers. A few were imported by American Train & Track in the 60's. I don't have any myself, but I've wanted to pick up one of the ATT Yard Birds for some years now.

Not True Ben.
I bet there's a few of us that are no longer interested.
You just hang on to it.

LOL! Paging me...
I do have a couple of the small Ken Kidder locos and I even have one of these:

Ken Kidder 0-4-4-0T ~ 1964
This one is not mine, mine is painted black, but I have it partially torn apart & packed away and could not get a photo of it.
I don't necessarily collect Ken Kidder per say, but I go after what I like.
On a side... I find it very hard to believe you Gareth when you say you are no longer interested in that Boxcab. You are one of the most persistent gents I know..

I meant the garbage pail. Who would want that boxcab piece of junk? Of course, since you're obviously about to throw it in the trash, I'll take it off your hands as a favor.

Sean;
Point of fact I'm more interested in acquiring your 0-4-4-0T Than the Box Cab. The Box Cab ship has sailed for me at least as far as any interest in Ben's is concerned.
As to persistent, ask Nelson how much, especially in the face of several Police pointing guns!
Oh and um, don't sell or trade any model trains in Suffern, NY. & I say that for your own safety and well being!
