My present set of Demonstrator Locomotives... And if you are smitten with demonstrators as I am (I'm also partial to those built no later than about 1975-1976,) then I recommend a book called Diesel Demonstrators by Weekend Chief, a good locomotive bible to own. Albeit only diesels. I wish there were books on electric and steam locomotive demonstrators.

TOP Shelf L > R: Proto ALCO PA2's A+B "More Power To America Special 8375, custom painted MLW(ALCO)/GE PA1's A+A 9077-9078, Bachman Baldwin Sharks A+B 6000, Proto 2000 ALCO FA's A+A 1602 D & A, Athearn Genesis EMD F3 ABBA 291A1+291A2, Atlas EMD GP7 100
Second Row L > R: Model Power ALCO Century 628-2, Athearn EMD DD40, Athearn EMD SD45 4353, Atlas Fairbanks Morse Train Master TM-4, Broadway Limited EMD SD-7 991, Precision Craft ALCO RSD-7 DL601, Bachman Spectrum EMD GP-30 1962, Proto 2000 General Electric U30B 302, Athearn Genesis EMD GP35 5652
that's my set... More to come?
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Wow, zebrails! Those demonstrators are candy in a candy store. Sweet!
Exquisite Lafayette set you got there, catfordken. Looks like a box of chocolates!
Well, I also had a very Bachmann christmas:
Mammoth of the Rails! This Bachmann Branchline combo pack was a gift from my girlfriend. I think I'm in love! The freight cars are super detailed and match better the 2-10-4 than Bachmann's own more modest freight cars. Maybe they should have bought Branchline's rolling stock instead of Atlas!
