Taking a Canadian or American fanrail excursion. There are soo many to shoose from.
Several years ago while in California I had a ride up high into an Ancient Redwood forest amongst trees that were over 2,000 years old...... behind the pictured Shay.
Surely not fast, but fascinating to watch!

Rode one at Cass Scenic. SOOOO slow through the switch backs! Coulda out walked it! I wonder what ever north american excursions have a logging loco or two? That runs?
