What the heck, figured I'd have a little fun today, since this is a MOMENTOUS occasion, I thought it worthy of a highlightable posting. This should make Microbusss VERY happy, since he's been wanting some of these for awhile.

What's worse than finding a nice Tyco car ( say, a 70' tanker? ), and gosh the darn trucks are missing on it ( again ). What's a Tycoholic to do? Well, after all these shows I've been too, I FINALLY found some vendor who ACTUALLY brought some to sell! He mentioned he'd thought about whether to bring them or not, toss'em or not, they're Tyco, right? I bought the whole bag of trucks. One pair of Triple trucks, the rest are long-shank, I think they're caboose trucks. THOSE are hard to find, too. You can find standard Tyco trucks on just about anything, but those two types, long tanker and caboose, have special trucks, and you almost never see those as parts. So, here's the portrait of these shining stars -

I was going to list them under AOTW, since they're "almost" an accessory trying to find them used to replace missing pieces. LOL. Anyway, I've got a boxful of cabeese with no trucks, and while I could use the triples, I don't have any missing right now, so I'll pass them on to MB, who DOES need them. One more back on the tracks, bud. Enjoy!

hi cheez,i believe there were three different types between the years 1940/1965 approx, the left hand ones were the earliest for the wood/metal kits with body mounted couplings, centre were for old timers, and right 2 versions of same truck, screw (earliest) and rivet (later)i will of course stand corrected, ken
