Hi All, Last week on one of my HO scavenging trips I found a Lionel 0039 track cleaning car for a bargain. Unfortunately there is nothing left of one of the trucks. Is there anybody out there who has a spare or know where to get one?

Hello,
I am in the same boat and need a truck for the 0039 cleaning car. I received it for a Christmas gift in "61" as an add on for my "60" Santa Fe set and have found a broken truck from storage.
Thanks for any help.

I do have some Lionel HO cars, so far I've seen 3 types of trucks on them. Later cheesy plastic non-sprung trucks, plastic with recessed hole and large screw, and screw in non-recessed truck, and also a push-pin type. If you guys want to take a picture of the truck that is still there ( underside view ), I may be willing to part with some trucks for a price. I have quite a few Lionel parts chassis's I bought with no trucks, some have one, so I could part out the ones with a single truck. Price would be around $3 plus shipping per truck.

Shark, I don't have a truck, but I did find this page with the exploded parts view. I didn't know it was motorized.

This car was made circa 1961.

Thanks, I am in contact with someone who specializes in Lionel HO parts. I'm waiting to see if he has the proper part. As I understand it this car used a "pick-up" truck that was special to this car. The car does not move by itself, the motor is used to move the sponges.
