I'm heading down today to see what I can find at the Richmond show. Last year I found a custom Osama Bin Laden - Dead or Alive boxcar. Prophetic! Hopefully some more deals will be found this year, maybe I can even find a few items off Micro's massive IWL ( I Want List ). I better get my butt moving, it's already 7:30 AM, I need to get going by 8:30, and I still have to pack trains to take to my club's Open House this afternoon. Busy, busy! Report on show later.

Don't we all?
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention - SCORE! Deals weren't plentiful, but the best one I got was I found a Tyco Industries Authorized Dealer manual, dated 1974, for a local Hobby Shop. Has diagrams of many Mantua/Tyco engines, parts lists, pricing, how-to-fix, etc. Price was $5. I scorched that bill coming out of my wallet. Not much else Tyco there I wanted, nothing rare, found one Dodge truck cab, no Kenworths ( sorry, Walt ). Only spent half of what I took, which is ok. I DID find some triple-trucks for a change, so Microbusss's long tanker can get off the blocks and back on the tracks. Also had some long shank trucks for Tyco, I assume for cabooses, so I bought the whole bag, many of my cabeese are missing those. Other items were some powered Lionel trucks with DC motors on them, for track cleaners?, not sure, $5 for a pair. Some diecast cars, a buddy there selling his trees gave me 5 N&W passenger cars, I think Athearn, I'd been wanting. So a worthwhile trip south to visit the show. Also got a varney docksider, an Athearn Mack truck kit, a N&W bi-cent caboose, some hat pins. Not a bad day. I'll post pics tomorrow.
