Came across this today.

Its an Alco body with a GP20 nose and EMD trucks. Quite inventive I think.

This guy, certainly made some interesting choices here.
He could say, it was an SD24/40 repowered with an Alco prime mover and the 430 hood was available.... stretching though. The GM hood would be taller so why not just reuse it?

Wow, that looks really good with the longer nose. And with the airtanks on the roof, it kind of reminds me of the chop-nose "SD20" (nee SD-24)'s the C&O built. That is to emphasize... almost. But it looks like a fine and inventive hack job. I like it quite a bit.
