My SOTW was picked up yesterday at a TCA O gauge train show. I get some of my best deals at O gauge shows sometimes. Anyway, a bit beat, but the engine is in fine fettle, and runs well, the cars have nicks, chips, and pieces broken, but for the price, $25 for all, not too bad. This is the older Mantua / MU-2 motored engine.

Hi,

Catfordken: Man I love those Athearn PA's. Are those the older ones with the metal truck sides?
AMC_Gremlin_GT: Nice matching set. I have yet to make a complete set of any of Tyco's passenger trains. I Have engines and no cars or cars and no engines, LOL! The one That always gets away is the Amtrak engine.

Thanks for sharing guys.

The Amtrak set engine is the GG1, isn't it? I have that as a complete set, the New Haven now, and Santa Fe. One I would LIKE to acquire is the ACL Mantua passenger set. Have yet to see that at any local shows. A few Burlington cars, I probably have an engine to match.

Hi AMC_Gremlin_GT,

The cars I have are the ones with the blue stripe only. It looks like they came from set #7310D. I got them from a forum member here and really enjoy them. The engine that I am always looking for is the Amtrak F7 that came in the set. I did see the GG1 set you wrote of, It is very nice.

Excellent passenger sets! My SOTW is a Bowser "City of Las Vegas" Aerotrain. I still need to install a powered truck in the lead unit.
