I saw this at the Modern Mechanix Blog Site. It's from a 1976 National Geographic. There's two pages of gas station signs which would be great for your local gas station, or on a bill board or wall! A lot of brands I've seen and a lot of brands I never heard of.
Note in 1976 Esso had already changed into Exxon.

Thanks for posting that. Those will make wonderful scratchbuild gas stations or roadside billboards. I like the obscure logos.
