I picked up three sets all from the same vendor...

First off is a 7319 "Golden West Set"

This is a "brown box" version of the set and it would seem the previous owner acquired two additional cars sometime after the original point of sale at "Two Guys" .

A extra coach and horse car were later purchased at Sears....

I find it interesting that the set cars have tan box ends and the separate sale cars have white ends.....

Next is a T-6117 "Red Bird East"

Fairly nice set but it has the wrong caboose...

Last set is a T-615 "The Early Bird West" "Southern Pacific"

I cannot find any info on this set in the 1961 catalog.

Nice finds! I like the Golden West set. It's amazing how many you were able to get. I could go to 10 shows here and never see even one set in that condition (let alone in its original box ).

I'll second that. I've never seen anything like that around here. But given the "you want that?" attitude I get when I purchase Tyco products, I'll bet I could get a set for cheap if I did find it.

hehe when I went to the show last Saturday one seller was surprized to see the Tycos he was selling disappear rather quick Guess the purchasers wanted to get something from their childhood or get Tycos cause it was something they couldn't get cause they were too poor to get it
