What type of lube is best for the rolling stock? I hear that plastic wheels are not a good friend of the model rail road track. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Dirtboy45,

Plastic wheels collect dirt and spread it around your track. The dirt will also build up on your wheels and make your rolling stock shake and eventualy derail. If you are just getting into trains and have very few pieces of rolling stock, This is a great time to start swaping out your plastic wheels for metal ones. I'm sure other forum members will have some great ideas.

Mike
